View the latest post Attachment(s) Dennis' response to our tweet regarding Private Matches

Today our official twitter account, @TheSWBFC, tweeted out to Dennis Brännvall (Design Director for Battlefront II) regarding the addition of Private Matches to the game. Obviously this isn't as clear cut of a response as we'd like, we would have preferred a direct "yes" or "no", but this response feels like they are listening and could be a sign of good things to come.

We will continue to reach out to developers to obtain a concrete response. Until then it's basically a waiting game, so I encourage all of you to tweet/post/do anything to get their attention regarding the addition of Private Matches. They are paying attention. Now that Dennis is allowed to communicate it's only a matter of time until we get more information. I, for one, cannot wait until this addition so we can get some tournaments going again. Fingers crossed.

View the latest post Congratulations to Touch Gaming!

Congratulations to Touch Gaming for their victory in the Multi-Mode finals over 322. TG managed to win the final match three maps to one.

The first map was Drop Zone on Swamp Crash Site, with TG winning 5-3 after a slightly slow start to the map from them. The second map was Cargo on Imperial Station. The map ended in a draw at first after TG was able to overcome a strong start from 322. On the sudden death replay of the map 322 was able to get the win. The third map was Droid Run on Defense Sector, which TG won 100-6. The final map was Drop Zone on Rebel Depot, TG was able to close out the match with a 5-3 win.

Drop Zone: Swamp Crash Site - TG win 5-3
Cargo: Imperial Station - 322 win 6-4
Droid Run: Defense Sector - TG win 100-6
Drop Zone: Rebel Depot - TG win 5-3

Great effort by both teams to make it to the finals, and again congratulations to Touch Gaming, the Multi-Mode champions!

Thanks to everyone who helped with streaming/commentating any of the tourney matches.

for doing the individual stats for this tournament. Most of the clan leaders were on top of taking screenshots or videos of their match scoreboards.

Lastly, thank you to all the members of all 25 teams that competed in this tournament. I hope you all enjoyed competing.
