View the latest post PS4 Droid Run Sign Ups are Now Open!

Hello everyone, the sign ups are now officially open for our first Droid Run tournament on PS4.

You can sign up by clicking this link:
Sign ups will be open from now until midnight eastern time on March 9th.

I am setting the initial signup deadline for a little less than 2 weeks from today, on a Thursday night this time. This is because I feel like most of the teams now only play matches once a week on the weekend. By starting on a Friday this will hopefully result in some teams doing matches right away.

Also please note that it is entirely possible that we will be extending this signup phase past March 9th. The past couple tournaments we have had to extend the signups to get a solid number of teams, so I would expect the same to happen here unless something changes. If we do get a decent amount before the 9th though we can start right away. If the signups begin to drag on for too long we will cut them off at some point even if we have to end them at an odd number. If that happens then we will most likely have to do a format like double elim.

We had 18 teams sign up for Drop Zone III on PS4, so a good goal in my opinion would be to get 18 or greater teams. The real goal is to get as many as possible, as always though. If you guys could please tell your friends / teammates / rivals what the signup link is, that would be greatly appreciated. (You can copy and paste from the PS4 browser into PSN messages).

As usual I will wait approximately 1 week into the signup phase to see who signs up of their own accord or through the efforts of you guys, and then I will start posting on the DICE forums, reddit, the reddit discord, PSN communities, and sending PSN messages to past teams and new teams if I manage to find any.

Congratulations to Tragyk Wants A Title [TWAT] for their victory in the Drop Zone III finals over R. TWAT managed to win two maps to one.

The first map was Dune Sea Exchange, with TWAT winning 4-2. The second map was Raider Camp. R won this map 5-3 to force a third map. On the final map of the tournament, which was Jawa Refuge, TWAT was able to close out the finals with a score of 4-1.

Dune Sea Exchange - TWAT win 4-2
Raider Camp - R win 5-3
Jawa Refuge - TWAT win 4-1

Great effort by both teams to make it to the finals, and again congratulations to Tragyk Wants A Title [TWAT], the Drop Zone III champions!

EDIT: I accidentally edited this post when I was making a similar post recently, so some of my wording and details might have changed when I tried to put back the original information, sorry about that.
