Tournament runs from 12/16 - 12/30 (noon), playoffs from 12/30 - 1/10.
Rosters lock 12/23.
Minimum battles to qualify for playoffs is 7; if multiple teams are below 7 battles, the team(s) with more matches played makes the playoffs.
Playoff format is 5 seed vs 4 seed, top seed has bye, 6th 7th and 8th seed don’t get in. 1 seed vs 4v5 winner, 2v3 seed. Higher seed chooses between 2 maps/3 factions or 3 maps/2 factions.
No ringers are allowed in playoffs.
The team that picks 3 maps must pick their maps first.
Can only battle a certain team two times per night (18 hours).
Once map 1 starts, the maps and factions are locked unless both teams agree to switch.
Your team must somehow communicate (through chat, admin, or respawning) within the first 15 second spawn cycle that you need to restart the map. Otherwise, the map must be played through.
Cannot pick the same map more than once per battle.
Teams must battle another team they have faced less often first when choosing between battling two teams. This only applies to unscheduled battles. "Scheduled" means specified time and day at least 3 hours in advance. You can only have one scheduled match with a certain team at a time.

During regular season, CTF is 30 minutes, cap to 3; ties are broken with a 30 minute sudden death replay of the map. Sides remain the same. If no one scores, during the regular season, ties will be worth 2 points (6th map can be gentleman's agreed to). In playoffs, CTF will be 1 hour, with the 6th map occurring afterwards if tied [changed from 6th map rule].
60 minutes, 300-450 reinforcements for conquest (1.5 times number in remote manager).
One ringer is allowed for either team if the other team agrees, and if the team can't field a full lineup from its roster.
Streaming the match is required if a streamer is available.
Winning team is ultimately responsible for match reporting and stats submittal, but both teams should take pictures.
Rule alterations can be made to individual matches pending third party staff and opposing team’s approvals (gentleman’s agreements). Please state them in public domain before the map begins, or inform the streamer.
Rules are subject to change per council vote, which is comprised of every team’s representative.
Rules not listed here are similar to classic BFC forum rules.
Both servers will be in Chicago (can be moved; takes two days). BFC official server password is nonoobs. Server priority hierarchy goes to the team battling, then the team who reserved it beforehand, and if neither did, the team who has battled less.
